Clinical Pilots
Curating clinically relevant records into structured summaries to support clinicians and their patients at the point of care.
Our immediate focus
Medda identifies, retrieves, and structures clinically relevant information and generates a health summary before each visit so care starts with context, not catch-up. Records are pulled across providers, systems, and borders and organized into a single, up-to-date longitudinal view that stays with the patient. The goal is to reduce time spent reconstructing history, surface what matters most, and support safer, more efficient decisions at the point of care.
Our long-term vision
Medda builds a living Health Story for each patient that spans generations. Records are organized into structured timelines that make changes, trends, and key events easy to follow across providers and settings. This continuity layer supports earlier risk detection, more proactive and preventive care, and stronger coordination over time. As Health Stories grow, they enable predictive insights that support not only today’s visit, but future care as well.
Active Pilots
To learn how Medda best supports real clinical workflows, we are running three pilots that apply the same core capabilities across different care settings.
1) Medda Provider Platform
Complex Care Pilot - 2026
For complex care physicians
The Provider Platform supports clinicians caring for complex patients across multiple providers by securely retrieving and organizing records, managing consent and authorizations, and generating summaries linked to source documents. Clinicians can query the longitudinal record with an AI assistant, allowing more time with patients.
How it works
Medda works with each provider to configure workflows and summary views that work best for them and their practice.
Medda builds the provider roster, retrieves records ahead of upcoming visits, and organizes key information ahead of the visit.
Providers get curated summaries at the point of care that link to source records and can query longitudinal records with AI-assisted search.
How you can help
Seeking physicians (GPs or specialists), nurse practitioners, private clinician owners, health organization representatives, and clinical researchers to pilot Medda for free and help shape early workflows and summary design.
2) Medda Provider Network
Continuity Pilot - 2026
For episodic care providers
The Medda Provider Network helps clinics offer patients secure access to continuity of their records to ensure clinically relevant information stays with the patient. Medda will securely retrieve and organize records for the patient, creating a trusted entry point into longitudinal history-building and downstream care coordination.
How it works
Medda works with each clinic on how best to introduce Medda to their patients through digital and physical touchpoints surrounding the point of care.
Patients opt in, provide consent, and Medda sponsors the secure retrieval of their health information from the clinic, then organizes the information.
Patients gain secure access to clinic records through Medda, and the clinic retains access to patients who choose to build longitudinal histories.
How you can help
Seeking clinicians and private clinic owners interested in joining the Medda Provider Network to offer their patients free access to their health information, and allow Medda to refer patients needing representation in their area.
3) Medda Clinical Services
Patient Pilot - 2026
For patients seeking access or coordination
Medda helps patients prepare for visits, understand results, and plan next steps by building context and delivering clinician-reviewed summaries curated to a care objective. For patients without representation, Medda helps connect them to a network provider and provides interim clinical support when needed.
How it works
Medda works with patients to define a care objective and build clinically relevant context to support it.
Medda retrieves, organizes, and reviews relevant information, then provides a summary and clinical note to support next steps.
Patients access their health summary with the option to chat further with a Medda clinician online, or schedule an appointment if needed.
How you can help
Seeking patients without care representation, or patients seeking a deeper understanding of their health who need help coordinating care, preparing for upcoming visits, or making sense of their health history.
Why we care
We’ve seen first-hand how care works better when patients and care teams share the same complete health story. Today, that story is still fragmented, hard to use, and leads to uninformed decision making.
Records are scattered
Health records are spread across systems and locations. Rebuilding a complete history is slow and often incomplete, creating admin burden and risk.
Data is unstructured
Records arrive as PDFs, scans, and free text that are hard to search. Clinicians waste time piecing things together, with no usable or shared view.
Care is unpersonalized
Decisions are made with partial context and population-level guidance. Without longitudinal trajectories, care is less personalized.
